Más Y Más Creative and Performance:
A unique opportunity to have a professional band come and work,
create and perform in your school or institution.
The band run songwriting, instrumental, vocal and rhythm workshops
culminating in performances and recordings. Más Y Más talk about their professional experiences and share their inspiration, skills and knowledge with the participants. The workshops are combined with a performance to make for a thrilling event of music, song and rhythm! Más Y Más believe that process and product are of equal importance. The workshops culminate in the recording of the material and production of a high quality CD. Each participant takes away a lasting testament to their creativity. Rikki Thomas-Martínez has had many years of experience as a musical director and workshop leader inspiring and empowering participants with his original and vibrant style. The workshops are versatile and thrilling creative intensives. The onus is on producing original material taking inspiration from world music and multi-cultural experiences. Richard Kensington communicates his extensive knowledge of Latin and Afro-cuban rhythms and instruments in an accessible and creative way. He also brings his experience with visual arts to make structures for performances and carnivals.
