2008

Más Y Más go to Havana, Cuba to record there new album.
Armed with an albums worth of new material, the band set off to collaborate with Richard's long time teacher and mentor 'Chaguito' in Havana. The took all their own recording equipment, and Rikki's trusty Mac along with instruments, cameras, gifts and dreams! This caused some interesting scenes at the checkin terminals in various airports.
The band had the honour of using the studio of the Septeto Nacional to rehearse and record the songs. Guesting on the album are:

Melciades Fundora – Wooden Flute and founder member of Orquesta Sublime
Juan Carlos Tito Rojas– First Trumpet from Pachito Alonso y Sus Kini Kini
Arelys Catillo Bequer – Trombone from Coto y su eco del Caribe
Odalys Flores Armenteros– Vocalist from Ada Che
Adriana Lord Romero– Vocalist from Vocal Catarsis
Frank Garzon Rill – percussionist
Miguel Martinez Rosas – Trescero from Papa Oviedo y Sus Soneros

The album is currently being mixed and will be out soon.

2007

An exciting year for the band, having been invited back to the Rainforest World Music Festival, Sarawak, Borneo for their 10th Year anniversary and playing at the first ever Penang World Music Festival, Malaysia.

The band received the devastating news that their friend and producer Alex Clark passed away. He will be greatly missed, as a loved one and a source of inspiration and guidance.

Frog and Onion DVD

The new DVD was filmed at one Nottingham's best loved pubs - The Frog and Onion (formally 'The Carlton'). The filming took place in the upstairs function room which had not been used for nearly 30 years. The crumbling grandeur is juxtaposed with silk suits and very shiny shoes!! This isn't cool 'Nu Yorica', or Afro-Cuban - this is Brit-Latin coming at you!
